R-410A, also commonly known as Puron, is an HFC refrigerant widely used in air-conditioning and heat-pump systems. It was developed as a replacement for R-22 and became widely adopted in systems requiring a high-pressure refrigerant.

R-410A has a very low temperature glide and minimal fractionation potential, allowing it to perform consistently when used in equipment specifically designed for R-410A. Due to its relatively high operating pressure, it should only be used in systems that are designed and approved for this refrigerant.
